A palette you can take to the counter

Real fan decks sort chips by hue, lightest first, and give every chip a name and a code. This one does the same for your palette: the base color you pick, its harmony partners, and five shades of each, all named and coded so a palette can be talked about, not just eyeballed.

The order sheet copies the whole deck as CSS custom properties, ready to paste into a stylesheet or a design-token file. Everything runs in your browser.

Which harmony should I use?

Analogous for calm interfaces, complementary for one strong accent, triadic for playful brands, monochrome for a single-hue system.

Are the names real paint names?

No. They are generated from the hue family and lightness so that every chip has a stable, speakable label.

Are the shades accessible?

The 100 and 500 shades of any chip sit far enough apart to pair as text and background at WCAG AA in most cases; check the specific pair with a contrast checker before shipping.
